Photo description:
MIKE DEAL / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS Winnipegger Stacia Franz is campaigning to improve access to workplace mental health supports for law-enforcement officers, after her husband, Kieran Ebanks, 33, died by suicide in April. Ebanks, born in Birmingham, England, was an operations superintendent with Canada Border Services Agency. Franz said her goal is to prevent future tragedies like the loss of her husband, and to honour his life and legacy. She doesn't want anyone to suffer in silence.
