Elder Mary Courchene, residential school survivor, and members of her family, Seven Oaks School Division Superintendent Brian OՌeary, and Manitoba TeachersՠSociety President Nathan Martindale, launch Resistance on the Giimooch (Ojibwe for ҳecretө, a collaboration between SOSD and MTS based on the life of Elder Mary Courchene. These lessons channel her story of truth, resistance, and healing to reclaim identity, language, culture and community for herself and her family. Sept 25th, 2023
