Photo description:
MIKE DEAL / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS A vacant home on Victor Street will be demolished after the second fire there in less than a month. Fire crews were sent to the 400 block of Victor shortly before 5:30 a.m. Monday. The blaze was declared under control at about 6:18 a.m. The Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service ordered an emergency demolition for the house because of its “structural instability” and to ensure firefighters could access small areas where fire remained. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Crews extinguished a fire in the same home on the morning of Jan. 22. 230213 - Monday, February 13, 2023
