Woodbine Burgers is a new locally made, burger pickup-window which specializes in smash burgers. Story: an Intersection piece on Woodbine Burgers that opened in the Spring of this year. Woodbine specializes in smash burgers - placing what looks like a meatball on the grill, then pressing it with a metal burger stamp to create a thin, crispy patty and adding spices and onions during the frying process. Their signature burger is the SmashZilla - Double Waygu Smash Patties Grilled with Red Onions and their signature burger seasoning, Sharp Cheddar Cheese, goat cheese crema, Secret Blueberry Mayo, Raw Red onions, butter pickles, 3 Crispy Onion onions, crispy bacon, Chipotle Mayo, on a butter-toasted brioche bun. They also offer poutines, chicken dishe s and deep-fried Oreos, the latter if you have room for dessert. This is for the Sat.
