The day long opportunity saw more than 300 students and teachers from 60 high schools from across Winnipeg and surrounding areas converge on the University of Manitoba Bannatyne campus to speak with award-winning faculty members, take part in interactive workshops demonstrating real-world medical skills, and get a clear picture of what it’s really like to be a health professional or scientist. 
The Hands-on Nursing Clinical Skills workshop was an immersive workshop designed to enhance the students practical skills across critical areas of patient care.
