The RCA Museum in CFB Shilo is home to thousands of artifacts from the First and Second World Wars, as well as more modern conflicts of which Canada has played a substantive role. Among these artifacts are service medals of fallen soldiers, such as Virden native Maj. Hugh Sinclair who served with the XII Manitoba Dragoons during the Second World War. Sinclair was known as "Mr. Shilo" and received the Order of Canada for his dedication to life on the base. (Matt Goerzen/The Brandon Sun)
