MIKE DEAL / FREE PRESS Carol Lynch has been living in a hotel since the Birchwood Terrace apartment building was evacuated six months ago. She is in a kitchenette with her dog Trixie. The province is still paying for rooms for at least a handful of evacuees. Lynch said she will return to her suite at Birchwood Terrace when the building is deemed safe again.
