Following the indoor event there was a photo op outside with Chambers and others with the capsule. (David Chartrand was not able to stay for the outdoor portion of the event). The Time Capsule Ceremony initiated by City Councillor Mark Chambers, is part of Winnipegճ 150th Anniversary. It contains important documents and memorabilia from the past and present, showcasing Winnipeg's history especially in the Louis Riel, St. Norbert РSeine River district. A few of the numerous items in the capsule: - A copy of the Mayor's Ball Program from October 5, 2024 -Engraved piece of the barricade from Portage and Main -Proclamation of Bill 202: The Louis Riel Act Along with many other items including letters, coins, special pins and a video interview with Metis President David Chartrand.
