Brandon city council held a night of hot cocoa and coffee at City Hall on Monday. The two-hour event was open to give the public a chance to connect with their councillors. Mayor Jeff Fawcett said he spoke with some residents about Brandon's Community Sportsplex, but attendance was not as much as in the past, following a snow dump in Brandon on Sunday. The meet and greet event is something the city is looking to do more of in the future. Seen in front of the city hall Christmas tree are (left to right) councillors Greg Hildebrand, Kris Desjarlais, Mayor Jeff Fawcett, Barry Cullen, Jason Splett, and Downtown Biz executive director Emmy Sanderson.
