A tally of local bird sightings is seen on a notebook in Ken Kingdon's kitchen. The tally includes those seen at his feeder, and while snowshoeing local woods. Kingdon will submit his numbers to the area count along with around 30 other participants in other divisions of the region and a total will be compiled.
