MIKE DEAL / FREE PRESS One of the artifacts that will be placed into the time capsule is a piece of the the Portage Avenue and Main Street barrier that is being taken down. Mayor Scott Gillingham, City Archivist Konrad Krahn and a few councillors were on hand to close the Winnipeg 150 time capsule to marking the conclusion of Winnipeg 150. The time capsule will be stored at the City’s Archives until it is opened for the City’s 200th Anniversary in 2074. 250117 - Friday, January 17, 2025.
