MIKE DEAL / FREE PRESS Gold Team member Zajac St. Godard makes some adjustments to their robot after testing it out in the ring. Unlike other provinces, Manitoba doesn't have a robotics curriculum nor credit. Tech teacher at Morris School, JP Jamieson, is working to change that. Jamieson has started a robotics team and they've had a busy year, including robotics tournaments in Minnesota and North Dakota. There are no tournaments in Manitoba, so that's why they have to travel. Two teams and two robots are headed to another tournament in Minnesota on Jan. 24.
