The Brandon Peavey Mart location, seen here on Tuesday afternoon sporting a large "closing" sign, is one of six Manitoba locations that will be closing down as part of a nationwide closure of all Peavey Mart stores announced this week. Peavey Industries said in a news release that it sought and obtained an initial order for creditor protection in the Court of King's Bench in Alberta on Monday. The Brandon Peavey Mart location opened on Oct. 17, 2016, following the locations transformation from a TSC Store. (Matt Goerzen/The Brandon Sun)
