MIKE DEAL / FREE PRESS Balmoral Hall school students check out the Canadian Museum for Human Rights latest exhibit, Love in a Dangerous Time, Thursday morning. Ahead of Valentine's Day, the Canadian Museum for Human Rights invited teenagers to learn about its newest exhibit on the LGBT Purge in Canada. From the 1950s to the 1990s, 2SLGBTQI+ members of the Canadian military, RCMP and federal civil service were investigated, interrogated and removed from their jobs as mandated by government policy. Several schools were invited to send students so that they could meet survivors of the Purge and have intimate conversations about their stories. Standup 250130 - Thursday, January 30, 2025.
