They were holding the joint press conference at the MPI Physical Damage Centre (1981 Plessis Road), Friday afternoon to showcase a number of vehicles that were seized as part of an investigation by Manitoba Public Insurance and the Winnipeg Police Service. Working together in what is dubbed, Project Buyer Bee Aware, MPI and the WPS shut down a large auto theft operation in Winnipeg that had connections to vehicles stolen from Ontario.
