13022025 Ron Fay, President of the Brandon Bluefins, shows the nearly 30-year-old touchpads the swim team uses for swim meets at the Brandon Sportsplex pool on Thursday. The City of Brandon has approved funding to replace the team’s touchpads and timing system. The current system was purchased for the 1997 Canada Summer Games and is showing its age after close to 30 years of use. (Tim Smith/The Brandon Sun)
