For an Intersection piece on Main Bread & Butter, a specialty grocery store in downtown Steinbach. With all the talk these days of buying local/Canadian, Main Bread and Butter in Steinbach is almost wholly focused on locally made goods since it opened in 1997. They stock products from close to 100 Manitoba makers - from roasted coffee beans to pasta sauce to dessert treats - as well as bake their own bread & cure their own meats for an in-store cafe, a popular meeting spot.
