Ruth Bonneville / Free Press ENT - Grey Hares Photo of June Thomson, who has been a member of the Grey Hares for 25 years, watches her group skate at River Heights Arena Wednesday The Grey Hares is a group within Nature Manitoba of retired and partly retired people who organise and attend activities every Wednesday. In the winter they cross-country ski, skate, snowshoe and walk, and in the summer they hike, bike, paddle and camp. There are 280 members in the group but not everyone attends every activity. Next Weds pics will be before and during their skating activity (starts at 12.45). They do not know how many people will turn up yet. I’ll be there to meet some of the members and interview them.
