What: This is for an Intersection piece on Mama B's Jamaican Patties, a family business celebrating five years in operation. Kevin's mom Yvonne grew up in Jamaica, where she learned how to make Jamaican patties (look similar to empanadas) by watching her mom in the kitchen. She and her family officially started the biz in the summer of 2020. They currently turn out five varieties, the patties are available at a number of grocers in the city. See Dave’s story.
