01052025 Third year Brandon University Integrated Education program student Elaine Hofer of Green Acres Hutterite Colony presents her collection of poetry titled "Everyday Life" during her creative writing thesis defence as part of her advanced seminar course. Her collection celebrates Hutterite life, the natural world and themes of belonging set in simpler times before technology. Her writing has been published in Broadview Magazine and she was featured in a CBC podcast and a UNHCR documentary.
