Photo description:
BROOK JONES/FREE PRESS WPS Half Marathon volunteer Lynn Bommersbach (left) places a medal around the neck of a Star Wars Yoda plush toy held by Natalie Lam after she completed the two person relay half marathon with teammate AB Cumpas. Bommers and Lam are pictured in the finishing area of the WPS Half Marathon at Assiniboine Park in Winnipeg, Man., Sunday, May 4, 2025. The fourth day in May is commonly known as Star Wars Day because of the turn of phrase, "May the force be with you," used by Jedi masters in the Star Wars movies.
