MIKE DEAL / FREE PRESS Christian Klopick owner of Tenderloin Meat and Sausage, 1515 Main St, with the stolen register that was returned. The old cash register — a tribute to his late father Walter the former owner, of Tenderloin Meat and Sausage — was apparently found by a Good Samaritan who wheeled it into the store in a wagon but didn’t share how he found it, saying only he wanted to return it. He got a cash reward from the owner, who said the community response was moving, but crime in the store persists — particularly meat shoplifting.
