MIKE DEAL / FREE PRESS The main entrance to Portage Place Shopping Centre will be closed so that construction can begin on the new Pan Am Health Centre for Excellence. Visible signs that True North is making progress on the redevelopment of Portage Place Shopping Centre have arrived and soon access to the building will be shifted to allow for the removal of the Clocktower atrium. The main mall area will still be accessible, including access to Prairie Theatre Exchange, but the main access from Portage Avenue will move to the entrance at Portage and Kennedy Street. The entrances at Portage and Edmonton and Portage and Carlton will be closed as well as the skywalk at the Carlton Street intersection. The Parkade entrance and exit on Carlton will be closed.
