Photo description:
Brandon resident Amanda Balfour waits at the Brandon airport for her cousin, evacuated from Cross Lake First Nation, to arrive on Thursday evening. She later learned that the evacuation flight went to Winnipeg. One flight from Pukatawagan (Mathias Colomb First Nation) arrived early Thursday evening before others scheduled were cancelled after the airport in Pukatawagan was shut down due to the fire in the area.
