A group of 4-H members from around the southwest gathered in Boissevain this month for the Boissevain 4-H Zone Rally. A total of 76 kids turned up for the event. The activities included horse riding shows, practice showing cattle for show and sales, and a parade through town. The club members gathered at the Boissevain Ag Grounds for a photo in between competitions. In the audience, several people told the Sun they are grandparents of kids in clubs. A cattle producer in his 70s said he had once been a member of 4-H as well, and now comes to show support for his grandkids. (Connor McDowell/Brandon Sun)
