Mayor Scott Gillingham attends the opening ceremony held by Tennis Canada for the newly restored tennis courts at Garden City Collegiate as part of the National Bank Play Your Court Program on Wednesday. After the ceremony the Mayor along with other dignitaries had some fun playing a quick pick up game of tennis with kids from HC Avery Middle School middle school. More info: it was announced that the National Bank Play Your Court Program, an initiative aimed to help municipalities revitalize their outdoor public tennis courts, had selected Garden City Collegiate in Winnipeg, Manitoba, as one of four projects to receive funding to renovate their current facilities June 25th, 2025
