26062025 Volunteers from Brandon Fire & Emergency Services and the Brandon Public-Safety Communications Centre work to package 330 green heart sugar cookies at Chez Angela Bakery and Café in Brandon on Thursday. This was the second of three rounds of heart cookie batches sold by Chez Angela in support of the family of Chinonso Onuke, the grade-ten student from École Secondaire Neelin High School, who was viciously attacked by a fellow student earlier in the month. 100% of the money raised will be going towards expenses incurred by the family of the student.
