September 18th - Teacher Matt Lind, gets students to write a biography about themselves and takes the time to look through photos that the group took on a canoe trip the day before. Students take part in the Engaged Learners Program, where over the course of three 12-day sessions they will take part in workshops on building construction, electrical, plumbing, emergency fire fighting, hair dressing, jewelry making, early childhood and physical education. This session of boys (approximately an equal number of girls will gather in separate 12-day sessions) come from all over Northern Manitoba and have for one reason or another stopped going to school.
