Premier Wab Kinew and NDP Spruce Woods candidate speak with voter Bill Kroeger in Sprucewoods on Friday. Kroeger, who lives in Rivers, was visiting a friend in town, and agreed to put up a Berthelette lawn sign at his home in Rivers. The pair, along with three volunteers doorknocked and spoke with residents about their concerns going into the byelection on Aug. 26. The rainy and smoky day made for a shorter afternoon according to campaign aid. The group was originally planning on going doorknocking for two hours. (Alex Lambert/The Brandon Sun)
