KEN GIGLIOTTI / WINNIPEG FREE PRESS / Jan 14  2011 – Area resident  Ron Nowicki  walks his dogs on a newly constructed walkway near  site of a  snowmobile crash that injured the driver and killed a male, Ken Stammers, 51, walking  in the early evening a hour of  6pm Jan13 – the incident occurred in the  field  nest to the walkway  that  borders on Millwood Lane East . The area is an open area  park  with a newly constructed walking / bike path ,  with hydro high lines running through it. There are vandalized signs that should read no all terrain or snow snowmobiling in the area  near the beginning of the path  at Fairview DR. . The signs have been damaged and faded as well are difficult to see .
