Cancer Care volunteer Pat Larence holds pink coloured pumpkin- The Cancer Care Manitoba fundraising project is in the parking lot of St Vital shopping centre next to Old Navy- all sales  to benefit the fight against breast cancer. Farmer Stan Soltes,not pictured, 75, whose own daughter is fighting cancer, has spent the growing season tending to a crop of the special pink-coloured pumpkins. The pumpkin variety, known as porcelain doll, is characterized by a light pink colour.
