The middle of the three towers is the newest CO2 removal tower at the Koch Fertilizer plant in Brandon. The tower was delivered to Brandon in the spring of 2024, and commissioned in the fall of 2025, and stands roughly 180 feet tall. It removes carbon dioxide from the process gas in preparation for the next step in anhydrous ammonia fertilizer production. It took 12 days to move the tower from Edmonton to Brandon, due to having to travel at night, as well as travelling on less congested routes to avoid congesting main highways.
