The public works shop on the right in Oakland-Wawanesa has been deemed too small and deficient to serve its purpose for storing equipment. Council has put forward a bylaw to borrow up to $900,000 to fund the construction of a new shop, however some locals are opposing the bylaw and complain that council’s process was lacking transparency.
