A beach at IR 61 A, a plot of land that belongs to Keeseekoowenin Ojibway First Nation along the northwest edge of Clear Lake. Blackbird issued a letter in April objecting to Parks Canada’s recent announcement of the return of motorboats to the lake. He previously told the Sun that the lake is seen as a place of healing for his community, and that he wants to protect it from issues such as invasive species that were discovered in recent years.
