Russell Vocational School Friday. CULTURAL LEARNING LAB: The Winnipeg School Division officially opened its new creative, project-based learning lab at R.B. Russell Vocational School this week. The public space is being celebrated as a first-of-its-kind site where students will be able to study Indigenous cultural teachings and project-based education. The site is equipped with design, fabrication and textile tools. The space is intended to help high schoolers design and build prototypes, explore textile and wearable design and collaborate on other projects of community interest.
