Glenboro-South Cypress councillor Dale Fisher is seen in front of a road that was lowered to increase the flow of water out of the area. Slow movement of water increases flooding in basements, floods acres so farmers cannot use them and damages roads in the area, he said. The municipality has began trapping beavers and removing the animal’s blockage efforts so to increase the flow of water through this watershed. (Connor McDowell/The Brandon Sun)
