Mildred Giesbrecht celebrates her 110th birthday — the oldest living Manitoban and, as far as known, at least the sixth-oldest living Canadian — with family at the Convalescent Home of Winnipeg Friday. Her children, daughter Enid Botchett and son Greg Giesbrecht, joined in the celebration, which included nostalgic songs performed by her son’s men’s choir group, a presentation of a letter and photo from King Charles III and Queen Camilla, and a 110th birthday cake.
