Photo description:
A male peacock, known to a neighbour as "Pretty Bird," blasts a mating call into the tree line in Souris in May. The town is known for its free-roaming peacocks, but there's concern for their safety as it appears a pair of yearlings were recently snatched by predators shortly after being released into the community for the season.
