Hwy 7 was closed to traffic north of Stonewall after a large sinkhole collapsed part of the hwy due to the heavy rainfall Tuesday and Wednesday morning. Tornado warnings, hail, and a record 250 mm of rainfall struck the Stonewall, Balmoral and surrounding areas including Winnipeg Tuesday causing widespread flooding and significant damage to homes and property.
