MIKE DEAL / FREE PRESS Large sewer pipes sit alongside Abinojii Mikanah while they are attached to each other before they will be hauled from the western to the eastern side of the Red River through a tunnel that goes underneath the river. Construction continues on replacing the old failed sewer lines that crossed the Red River at the Fort Garry Bridge, the new ones being installed in a tunnel that goes 16 meters below the ground travelling underneath the river.
