The Brandon Regals ran a unique promotion in February of 1957. Each customer bought a $5 ticket, well over the normal price, but were in the running to win a free new car, with one given away for every 2,000 fans. E.S. Martin buys a ticket from Brandon Sun sports editor Henry Stothard and Regals general manager Frank Boucher in the photo, which ran in the Sun on Jan. 30, 1957.
