Photo description:
Holding a mix of hand made signs and “On Strike” signs provided by the Manitoba Association of Health Care Professionals, several Dynacare lab workers in Brandon took to the picket line along Sixth Street on Tuesday morning, among a total of 350 workers who walked off the job across the province. The workers have not had a contract since April 1, and the union says contract talks collapsed on Friday over a company refusal to raise wages. (Matt Goerzen/The Brandon Sun)
