Grade 1 teacher Brianna Clark adjusts a book case in her brand new classroom at Maryland Park School in preparation for the student open house on Tuesday afternoon. Now in her second year of teaching, Clark says she is excited to have her own dedicated classroom space at the school just in time for the start of the new school year, which starts today within the Brandon School Division. The Manitoba government expanded the school by 14 new classrooms over the last year, increasing the school’s capacity to 900 students. Ms. Clark’s class will have 18 students this year.
