Patricia Dutchak a member of the Rotary Club, described to reporter areas in the park that damage was caused due to the misuse use of land while commercial development took place in the area. Story: Patricia Dutchak is a member of the Rotary Club of Winnipeg-Transcona. She’s been documenting the significant damage to the Rotary Tall Grass Nature Park in Transcona caused during the relocation of a fence between the park and the Amazon fulfillment centre next door. Large swaths of grass and foliage in the protected nature preserve were trampled by heavy equipment in August. The city is apparently seeking damages. Eva Wasney Oct 1st, 2026
