In the foreground, grade 5 student Maya Pogson holds a bird house by the bench that were both presented to all of the students at Ecole Assiniboine by Tom Ethans, Executive Director of Take Pride Winnipeg! and Sarah Wallace, Communications, Promotions and Education Coordinator with Multi-Material Stewardship Manitoba. Ecole Assiniboine was one of 14 schools in the province that received a bench for their hard work collecting plastic bags, the bench was made with 10,000 plastic bags.
