The Canadian Museum for Human RIghts' front yard......see story.  May 4, 2012 - (Phil Hossack / Winnipeg Free Press) COLUMNISTS OF SIGHT LINES AND VISION... The front yard of the Canadian Museum for Human Rights is made up of two parking lots, one the contention Parcel 4 Four owned by the city, the other of similar size owned by The Forks. Together today they offer unspoiled sight lines and a wide-open opportunity to make the outside of the museum reflect the message on the inside, and create a landscape that’s in harmony with its striking architectural presence. The Forks is taking its time and plans to consult with the community over the next few years. Meanwhile, the city, in its seeming haste to develop its parcel, and approve a contentious¤ a water park,¤ hasn’t even consulted the museum on the water park.
