Charles Fever director of bike Winnipeg was one of a group who came to clean a Winnipeg bike path at Lagimodiere Gabourt Historic Park- Cyclists and pedestrians frustrated with the city’s failure to keep many active transportation routes open in the winter will bring their own shovels to clear one of the many Winnipeg commuter biking and walking routes where snow has not been cleared this winter. Bike Winnipeg volunteers held a “shovel-in” on Tuesday  at noon hour to clear the trail between Dumoulin and the pedestrian bridge across the Seine, a critical route linking St. Boniface to Elmwood and Transcona.
