Six year old Emma Gordon giggles as she squishes clay in between her hands at Trace Studio Saturday afternoon in Neechi Commons. The studio is home to artist Rebecca Belmore who is asking members of the public to help create these large clay beads that she will string together to create a fabric like clay work of art, 40 feet high with hundreds of local people's handprints and hung on display in the Canadian Museum for Human Rights this fall. Members of the public wishing to take part in the project are welcome to visit her studio in the afternoons from 1pm - 4pm Wednesday to Sunday.
