John Sawchuk, suffered multiple injures last Saturday when he crashed on his bicycle while doing a training ride for triathlon on Centreport highway (he hit a large hole and was thrown from the bike). Photo taken with a bike like his at Alter Ego cycle shop an Pembina Highway. His red-and-white custom bicycle is still missing, a good samaritan offered to take it for him from the crash site, while he was being loaded into the ambulance on a spine board and stretcher with a neck brace, and return it to him later.
