Million dollar milestone for the Heart&Stroke Big Bike After 21 years of fundraising for Big Bike in Winnipeg, the Heart and Stroke Foundation celebrates reaching the million dollar milestone for donations with the help of the Winnipeg Goldeyes. The Goldeyes staff take the first ride on the big bike at Shaw Park to kick off Big Bike Winnipeg. The event features Debbie Brown, CEO, Heart and Stroke Foundation in Manitoba, and Dan Chase, director of sales and marketing, Winnipeg Goldeyes Baseball Club.The Big Bike kick off runs from noon to 1 p.m., at Shaw Park, on June 17.What: Since 1993, the Big Bike has been one of the Heart and Stroke Foundation's (HSF) most important fundraising events. Each Big Bike team consists of 29 dedicated riders and one driver who pedal through their community in support of HSF.
